Over the years, ODS has become the meeting place for Dante scholars and the benchmark for Dante studies in the Netherlands.

In the national context, the stakeholders are:

• undergraduate students, through an annual course
• postgraduate students, through internships
• a wider audience, with public lectures.

While, at the international level it has established:

• a partnership with the Società Dantesca Italiana
• a study programme open to guest researchers.
